My Medieval City Brochure

My Medieval City Brochure

The picture above shows my medieval city brochure that I did for my world history class.  It was a lot of fun to do and I learned a lot from it. My brochure covers four main topics relating to the medieval city Tallinn, Estonia.  The first topic I cover about Tallinn Estonia is the History of the city ranging on ideas about when it was established, which was at the beginning of the 13th century and what rule the city was under, which they were under the Teutonic Order.  The next topic I mention is the cathedrals and relics found in the city. One main cathedral found in Tallinn, Estonia is the St. Nicholas Church and one relic found there is the 16th century Dutch ship. The third topic is the important features found in Tallinn.  Two important features being the Tallinn Town Hall and Walls of Margaret. My last topic that I talk about is the lifestyle found their. Some ideas I give are how the city had a council to help watch over the city along with how there are guilds, which are associations comprised of merchants and artisans in the town.  This project was definitely fun to do.
